Water Treatment
Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) was contracted to evaluate the client’s existing canal water treatment and disinfection system, which was not operating efficiently nor in compliance with environmental regulations. Water treated by the system is utilized by the national laboratory in their research operations and their photon collider.
ESI assessed and monitored the water treatment system. Design modifications were made to the system that allowed the client to treat and disinfect over 2.4 million gallons per day. As-built and upgraded AutoCAD drawings were developed for the system to aid in the design and decision making process and to assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the water treatment system upon completion of construction.
